Kingdom hearts 3 pc
If not having played Kingdom Hearts or its spin-offs was a problem in the face of throwing yourself into its third installment, you no longer have an excuse: at the end of the month will come a compendium with everything published about the saga until KH3. In fact, the so-called Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far will come in handy for fans who want to have all the episodes collected and ordered.
Originally announced last October, Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far offers in the same pack the two compilations already published, including their updated visuals and all the extras of the Final Mix versions of the main installments, being the definitive prelude to approach Kingdom Hearts 3 in property.
The key date: the European release of Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far will be March 29 on PS4 and, at the moment, its price has not been specified. Although if you can not wait you can always bet on the not so generous in content Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix that right now is discounted to a very amortizable 19.95 euros.
The new content in Final Mix is interesting, although it is limited to the fixes it had at the time. Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain of Memories instead is a complete game that did not come to Europe, and that recreates in 3D the GameBoy Advance adventure, continuing the storyline right where Final Mix ends. It recycles graphic material from previous games for the characters and scenarios in great quantity, something that explains why Square Enix was encouraged to this recreation, so we can consider it more an expansion -a peculiar expansion- that mixes the PlayStation 2 style, now in HD, with the story and playable system of GBA.
Its main difference from other Kingdom Hearts is in the combat, in which each action is represented by cards with values. This moves away from the saga’s traditional accessibility for something a bit more role-playing and complex, giving Re: Chain of Memories a steeper difficulty curve -which is good for Kingdom Hearts players looking for a greater challenge-. After a few hours of tutorials and fights, you’ll be familiar with this new way of playing, which is neither better nor worse, just different. But be prepared because the duels against bosses are no longer solved by hitting the action button, you need a lot of strategy.
Kingdom hearts 4
Luckily, Square Enix has acted quickly and has released a patch that fixes the vast majority of these problems, patch that is already available and that you can download as soon as you insert the game having your PS4 connected to the Internet (something good had to have to receive the game later than our Japanese friends).
In our play session to each of the titles we have not detected failures or had problems with saved games; Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix run at 60fps stable and look splendid.
It should be noted, however, that the speed increase is only in the playable sections; the video scenes are displayed at 30fps. It is not too annoying, but it is a change that may shock those who look at this kind of details. And speaking of details, completing each title gets us access to one of six PS4 themes exclusive to this version.
How to play kingdom hearts
It’s no exaggeration to say that Kingdom Hearts III is one of the most anticipated games of the generation. Since its reveal in 2013 it caught the attention of thousands for being the first installment since Kingdom Hearts II (2005) to hit home consoles. Unfortunately, game development is not always that simple and there were several circumstances that kept it out of our hands for a long time. There was even a time when it seemed that it would never arrive or that it would have a similar fate to Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
The events of Kingdom Hearts III take place after the end of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Here we once again meet Sora, who after a complicated battle lost a key ability in order to fulfill his mission to defeat Xehanort and break Organization XIII. This leads him to visit Master Yen Sid, who tells him that to regain his strength he must visit a hero who has lost his. With this, Sora, Donald and Goofy get back on the Gummi ship and set off on a new adventure.
